Nochebuena in Miami: How to Order Your Cuban Christmas Eve Dinner
For Cuban families, December 24 is the big night. Nochebuena means lechón asado, moro rice, yuca con mojo, maduros and the whole family around one table. It also means someone spends the entire day in the kitchen... unless you let us cook.
At La Esquina del Lechón, lechón is in our name. We have been roasting it for South Florida families for over 18 years. Here are our 2026 Christmas packages, tips to plan your Nochebuena and how to reserve your order.
Christmas 2026 catering packages
- Lechón Asado Party – Serves 16–20 · $293 (about $14.65 per person). A large tray of our famous lechón asado with sautéed onions, moro rice, yuca with house mojo and sweet plantains. The classic Nochebuena.
- Fiesta Pernil – Serves 18–20 · $293 (about $14.65 per person). Roasted pork leg with our house spices, moro rice, yuca with mojo, sweet plantains and our original pernil sauce.
- Cuban Christmas: Lechón Asado & Pavo – Serves 30–40 · $554 (about $13.85 per person). Lechón and roasted turkey together, with stuffing, gravy, cranberry relish, moro rice, yuca with mojo, maduros and mariquitas with garlic mojo.
- Super Party: Pernil & Pavo – Serves 30–40 · $554 (about $13.85 per person). Roasted pork leg and a 22–24 lb turkey with all the sides.
- Lechón Asado & Chicken Churrasco – Serves 30–40 · $509 (about $12.73 per person). Lechón and grilled chicken churrasco for families where not everyone eats pork.
- Roasted Pork Leg & Chicken Churrasco – Serves 25–30 · $425 (about $14.17 per person). Pernil and churrasco with chimichurri, moro rice, yuca, maduros and mariquitas.
For smaller dinners, our 12-person trays (Arroz Imperial Party and Lasagna de Carne Celebration) are perfect for smaller family gatherings on Christmas Day.
Planning a Christmas party at the office?
Our Christmas Office Party combo serves 15–20 people for $307 (about $15.35 per person): chicken breast, BBQ pork chunks, moro rice, sweet plantains and yuca with mojo. Add our mini Cuban pastries (25 pieces, $18.45), ham croquettes (50 pieces, $55.45) or a mini desserts tray and your team party is done.
Lechón, pernil or turkey?
- Lechón asado is the heart of a Cuban Nochebuena: tender, juicy pork with our mojo and sautéed onions.
- Pernil (roasted pork leg) has that crispy skin everyone fights for. Great if you want a showpiece on the table.
- Turkey works for mixed families who also celebrate an American-style Christmas dinner.
Can't decide? Our combos with lechón (or pernil) and turkey are a great choice for big families, because there is something for everyone.
Don't forget dessert
Close the night with a tray of flan de leche, coconut flan, tres leches, guava cheesecake or our mini desserts mix (mini flans, guava and passion fruit cheesecakes and mini tres leches). Most dessert trays serve 12.
How to reserve your Nochebuena order
- Choose your combo on our catering menu.
- Order with at least 36 hours' notice. Large orders need time so everything is cooked fresh.
- We accept Christmas orders until we reach our kitchen's capacity. When you order, we confirm your pickup day and time.
Orders fill up quickly in December, so ordering early is the best way to make sure your lechón has your name on it.

At least 36 hours before, but we recommend ordering in early December because we accept orders only until we reach capacity.
How many people does a combo feed?
Every combo shows how many people it serves (from 12 up to 40) and the approximate price per person.
Is everything ready to serve?
Yes. Everything is fully cooked and packed in trays. You can add disposable utensil sets, serving tongs and buffet food warmers to your order.
Do you have options for people who don't eat pork?
Yes. Our combos with chicken churrasco, chicken breast, Arroz Imperial or Lasagna de Carne are great options.
